Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Full-Time)

Location: Advance Industrial Mechanical, Inc., 1765 Tobacco Road, Augusta, GA 30906

Job Summary: Full-time Mechanical Engineer responsible for a variety of engineering and design tasks to support production processes and equipment development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models of parts, equipment, and process units using SolidWorks

• Develop 2D fabrication drawings

• Design mechanical layouts for process units

• Generate bills of materials and quantity takeoffs

• Develop operation and maintenance manuals

• Provide technical support to the sales team for equipment quotations

• Participate in internal and external (customer) meetings

• Interface with other engineering disciplines

• Align manufacturing and engineering goals and objectives to optimize production processes

• Develop comprehensive SOPs, technical documents, and training materials (including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises) for both engineers and technicians

• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities through lean methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer

Experience Must Include:

• Creating 3D models of parts and equipment using SolidWorks

• Developing 2D fabrication drawings

• Developing operation and maintenance manuals

• Developing comprehensive SOPs, technical documents, and training materials
